PHD by Reasearch

In 2012, Noor Ophthalmology Research Center received the approval for acceptance of students into PhD by Research programs. Eligible candidates complete this program in the fields of ophthalmic clinical research and health sciences related to eye health in accordance with the guidelines and regulations set by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. The program is provided in collaboration with Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Students complete theoretical courses at the university and their research duties at the research center. To date, two candidates have been accepted into the program and are actively pursuing their studies. The center is now approved for accepting three more candidates for next year. Upon completion of the program, the researchers are expected to improve education and research in the field of ophthalmology to achieve the goals of the WHO Vision 2020 on a national and international level.
